Charles Caguioa is a Computer Sciencemajor currently attending Cerritos College.Hoping to transfer to University ofCalifornia Irvine, Charles plans to take hismajor towards a career in AssistiveEducational Technology to further enrich education through technological advancements and other personal passions such as the fine arts, gaming and literature.
Charles has been with the FCS in thesummer of 2013 as both a volunteer and ateacher in various subjects. Charles enjoyshelping and enriching children with valuesgarnered through his experience and acquired cultural intelligence. Charles istruly passionate with teaching and hopes to give a valuable and different experience of education that children will surely learn from and enjoy.
Charles now serves as the Volunteer Coordinator. As a coordinator, he is both in charge of recruiting volunteers and teachers, and delegating them during the program. He ensures ensures the efficiency of volunteer work to assure the satisfaction of individuals who partake in the program.
Along with FCS, Charles serves as the Inter-Club Council Commissioner of the Cerritos College's student government; a current volunteer in the Conversation Workshop, a workshop program to aid students in English as a Second Language (ESL) and Intensive English Program (IEP) classes; and the current lead coordinator of the Falcon Games, a tournament test physical and mental strength, that was recently introduced in Cerritos College. He also wishes to pursue his passions in writing and the arts, with the interest to create a series of artworks exemplifying his current craft. In his free time, Charles enjoys watching movies, playing video games and spending time with friends and his girlfriend.
