How Does Your Money Help?

Donations are instrumental in running our various educational programs. Here is what your donations bring to the FCS Family:

  • $10: Office supplies 

  • $20: COVID-19 safety supplies (masks, sanitizers)

  • $30: Location fees for in-person activities

  • $50: Volunteer scholarships and staff compensation

  • $100: Admin support to organize FCS events

  • $200: Teacher compensation for Language classes (Elementary, Middle/High School, Adult)

Donations will also help to alleviate the expenses expected to run our in-person programming. These include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Venue and insurance

  • Materials and stipends for instructors

  • Support for volunteers, such as food and background checks

  • Paying maintenance and service fees

  • Printed programs, certificates, t-shirts, and other memorabilia for the students to remember their time with FCS

  • Costumes and props for our dance classes

Keep in mind that any donations made to FCS are tax-deductible and that your support can truly make a difference in our students educational experience. Thank you!

On behalf of FCS board and staff, we would like to thank and acknowledge those who kindly support us and our community.

Thanks to the generosity of the St. Joseph Fund, we are able to offer need-based scholarships to 15 families and reduced tuition prices for all families who register our Youth Summer Program!

 

The Filipino Cultural School is supported by the LA County Department of Arts & Culture as part of Creative Recovery LA, an initiative funded by the American Rescue Plan
