Volunteers play a big role in the
execution and organization of our events!
At FCS, we have 2 types of volunteers - General Volunteers & Summer Volunteers
General Volunteer:
General Volunteers (GVs) help to organize, plan, and prepare all of FCS’s events both in-person and online throughout the year, especially in preparation for our annual summer program.
Summer Volunteer:
Summer Volunteers (SVs) assist our instructors and admin to ensure that our students are well-supported and that annual summer program runs smoothly from start to finish.
Requirements:
In order to volunteer with FCS, you must…
Be at least 16 years or older to apply (other age restrictions may apply).
Service hours are available for those under the age of 18.
Those under the age of 18 will be required to have a parent/guardian complete a liability form, if accepted.
Have an active email address that you check regularly (at least once per day).
Complete a background check.
Attend all orientations and all volunteer trainings (Mandated Reporter Training, Online Tests, etc.) as needed.
You do not have to be of Filipino heritage to apply!
