My most favorite thing about working on an FCS committee is knowing I am surrounded by people who are absolutely caring and dedicated to making sure FCS is a quality program for our students to learn and engage with the diversity of Pilipinx culture, language, and dance; and a quality program for our volunteers in making sure they are supported with skill-building, emotional support, and professional accomodations! I definitely feel like I am a part of something that is impactful and bigger than myself. If you enjoy practicing kindness at a large scale like I do, being on an FCS committee could definitely be a space that could use your presence!
